A: Since we know we must earn your continued patronage on each visit, we don't use contracts. We depend on open communication and your candid evaluation of your satisfaction with the referral. If you are happy, tell a friend. Also, let us know of ways we can serve you better.


A: The housekeepers service includes cleaning baseboards, pictures, lampshades, knick-knacks, window-sills, furniture, and basic light fixtures, and vacuuming throughout. Cupboard fronts are spot-cleaned, floors are washed, and the kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned. Visit the Services Page for a more in-depth list. They can easily customize a cleaning program to fit your home’s unique needs.

A: The normal work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While in most cases it is not possible to give a specific time to be at your home, we can give you a 2-hour arrival window.

A: CLEANOLOGY Housekeeping Referral Agency only works with experienced & professional independent housekeepers, not employees looking for an occasional job. All Independent housekeepers are screened to ensure they are legally authorized to work in the United States and have passed through background & referral checks. Our housekeeping referrals treat your home with the greatest care; however, should damage/breakage or theft occur while they clean your home, your housekeeper will be responsible for all damages as a result of their actions. All housekeepers undergo a thorough background and reference check.


A: For your convenience, cleaning equipment is provided by the housekeepers. They would be pleased to accommodate you should you wish us to use your own preferred equipment.

A: Most of our customers are not. For example, you can arrange for the concierge at your building to release a key to them each time; you can have a neighbor let them in; or you can provide us with a key. For added security, keys are coded individually and cross-referenced separately. If you choose not to provide a key and are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, you may incur a $30 lock out charge.

A: If your scheduled cleaning falls on the observance of a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. Also, as a courtesy we make sure that we always call or email you the day before to remind you of your appointment.
